Studio Sanguis is the evolution of a decade-long leather-working practice — each piece hand-dyed, hand-stitched, and built to last. Formerly Sanguis Ornatus, the studio now focuses on timeless essentials: belts, bestselling body pieces, and thoughtful designs for all. Rooted in tradition and refined over time, these are everyday pieces made with intention.
BESTSELLERS
Handmade leather harness with 3/4" wide straps. This piece can be worn two different ways (see photographs for styling options). All colors are hand-dyed except for nude, which is left untreated and will darken with time.
Select your under-bust measurement and leather color above. Measure directly below the bust for the most accurate fit. Each piece of hardware is repurposed and unique—variations or minor imperfections are part of its character.
Harnesses are made to order; please allow up to three weeks for production.

A chunky, hand-dyed and stitched leather belt, available in nude or black with your choice of brass or nickel hardware. Belt width is 1.5".
The nude leather will vary slightly in tone and will darken over time with wear and exposure to light. Each belt is made to order—please allow up to three weeks for production.

This belt is designed to sit at the natural waist or slightly below. For high-rise trousers or styling at the waist, your regular belt size should work well. If you plan to wear it with low-rise pants or over layers, consider sizing up for a more comfortable fit.

The design carries the hallmark texture and surreal character of Dorsch’s metalwork, balancing expressive form with quiet craftsmanship. Each belt is made by hand in Brooklyn. 1.5" wide.
